I'm sorry, I just couldn't help it. But you'll excuse me when you see what I did below.
I needed a temporary holding cell for my to-be-ironed-sometime-in-the-indefinite-future pile. I wanted a tote bag with breathable material and handles so I could hang it up on a hook in the laundry room instead of wasting valuable floor real estate. I found a burlap bag at the dollar store and spruced it up using the freezer paper stencil technique I showed

Instead of glue and glitter, this time I used fabric paint. Actually, this is acrylic paint mixed with Textile Medium which turns any acrylic paint into fabric paint, saving you not only truckloads of cash, but giving you a much broader range of colors. Thanks to Creative Maven for that tip. |
