Flowers for Fall Day Two: Why re-invent the yo-yo?

Technically, yo-yos are not quite flowers, but they evoke the same happiness that other flowers do, so they will slide into this week on a technicality.  I was going to post a tutorial on the steps to making this, but I found a wonderful readymade tutorial at Heather Bailey's blog. 
What I've done is include a couple of pictures of what I've done with my yo-yos and a hearty recommendation to try your hand at making some.  They are fast, addictive, and very, very cute.  More importantly, if I can make them (see below), anyone can.
